Is alright, okay, great….whatever the term. The vet called this morning and said the lump is a “lipoma” or something to that effect that scared the hell out of me until she explained that this is nothing more than a “fatty deposit” and that some breeds are more “prone” to them than others.
Of course the relief was overwhelming, but the question remains: Why to doctors of any sort use words that are just not in our (or at least, my) lexicon and are clearly designed for another demographic.
