Well, according to The Washington Post (and probably other newspapers), we have a bevy of “moderate” Democrats who just don’t like the so-called “public option” Harry Reid announced yesterday.
It’s no wonder there’s little faith in Congress by the public. What in the world is really wrong with the “public option.” Yeah, we’ll probably have to pay a bit more in taxes, but with more than 40 million uninsured, and those who are having their costs rise and benefits decrease, please, there’s just no reason for this behavior.
The nation, in my view, is remarkably frustrated with Washington; more so perhaps than any other time in history. And there seems nothing we can do save vote ‘em out…and we don’t seem to want to to that, to our own detriment.
