The wind is blowing hard here and I thought “what a metaphor” for life…so much is in the wrong direction. I wonder the following:
- How many who voted for President Obama would do the same if the election were held today? I would.
- How many are disappointed at the lack of progress in Washington?
- If you’re out of work and your savings gone, what do you do to put food on the table?
- Are we looking at another Reagan era, where the homeless increase substantially?
- When the so-called “turnaround” will trickle down to you and me?
- Oh, it just occurred to me, that’s the old Reagan “trickle down” economics.
- Does anyone feel really good, happy these days?
I noticed, while at the library the other day, that the queue for the public computers there was about double its usual length. On the other hand, there were no more people checking out books than usual. I’m not sure what that means, but it occurred to me that the library is a wonderful resource anytime, but especially now.
