Siblings, Email and maybe et al

I’ve only one, but that one defines erroneous. It begins with the most minute of issues. The other day I sent out an email to clients and others who call me on my cell phone telling them to use my landline until noon today, as my iPhone, at the time, appeared to be “broken” and I figured the Apple Store would have it handled by then.

Most persons would simply read the note, understand. In other words, it didn’t require a response. From my sibling, I received: “What happened to the iphone? You seemed to feel it was the best you had ever used..and I really have never heard of a problem with it.” Phrase One: Why would she care, as she doesn’t own one; Phrase Two: So what? I still do; and Phrase Three: Why would have heard of a “problem with it,” as you don’t own one?

This points to an issue I have with email: Many are simply communicating information and don’t require any response, yet there are those out there who seem compelled to answer or respond to everything. How annoying to have one’s Inbox filled not only with Spam, but also with inanity.
