I am always annoyed with SPAM, but it seems as if the spammers have stepped up their work over the past month or so, as I’m getting about 100 messages daily, perhaps more as I don’t count. I suppose it’s worth it for who- or whatever’s behind it, which has to mean that folks are buying in this stuff. I’m fast becoming in favor of some sort of charge for email. It might pay off the deficit.
And what of those people on the other end who buy anti-spam software? What is that about? All it does is do the selection process for the users.
President Obama is beginning to annoy me. (Disclaimer: I am a “yellow dog” Democrat): Do something for the people. There’s been enough said about the so-called “stimulus” package. The fact of the matter is that folks can’t make ends meet; jobs continue to evaporate; and poverty continues to spread.
Congress, of course, is always at least an annoyance, if not the definition of frustration, inaction and ineptitude. Go ahead and confirm Sonia as one of the Supremes and stop this waste of time called a confirmation hearing. She’s going to be confirmed, you all know that. Get together a real and effective healthcare program (I’m on Medicare), but my wife’s not: She just received a notice that her premiums are going to $242 monthly from $210. What’s that? More than 25% after a year? And with a $5000.00 deductible.
Whatever happened to getting the unemployed on these “shovel ready” projects?
