Isn’t it odd we’re not hearing word one about the fates of the senior execs at companies who got them into this trouble.
There are passionate arguments on both sides of this proverbial coin, but I’m wondering what these top dogs are giving up, or giving back.
Now, the Democrats (my party) have held Congress for a couple of years, but apparently Reid and Pelosi don’t see this as a problem of such magnitude as to call the Congress back into session and actually work until it’s worked out. And I’m a bit disappointed on Obama. I don’t buy the “there can be only one President” line, especially when Bush is out of town (to say nothing of the obvious “out to lunch”).
There are a lot of folks in this nation going into this Thanksgiving week frightened and we all deserve better.
On the other hand, why would we expect better.
